The RapidFire high-throughput mass spectrometry (RF-MS) hardware system is a native detection technology for cytochrome P450 inhibition assays and screening of chemical libraries against biochemical assays. RF-MS facilitates the label-free detection of multiple analytes in a wide range of applications, greatly streamlining assay development for novel assays and providing biologically relevant data.
The newly developed system incorporates many upgrades and improvements and has been designed to allow walk-away automation to provide greater throughput and flexibility for primary screening applications. It additionally incorporates many user-selectable options to improve the data quality of the system for secondary screening and follow up along with P450 inhibition assays.

- Fully automated, user-selectable multi-solvent flushing of autosampler and the ability to introduce blank injections between samples to minimize sample-to-sample carryover
- Fast and easy conversion between high-throughput RF-MS and conventional HPLC applications on a single mass spectrometer
