
Cambridge, MA, January 12, 2001BioTrove, Inc., formerly Advanced Instrumentation
Systems, Inc., announced today it has entered into a collaborative research
agreement with Pfizer
Inc. (NYSE:PFE) for the development of BioTrove's ultra-high throughput
screening technology for use in Pfizer's research facilities.
Under the terms of the two-year agreement, BioTrove will develop a ultra-high
throughput screening platform integrating proprietary nanoscale liquid
handling technologies to be purchased by Pfizer for use by Pfizer research
sites.
