Field Application Specialist (FAS)

The role of a Field Applications Specialist (FAS) combines performing cutting-edge experiments in a fully equipped laboratory with extensive customer contact both in the field and from our offices. Everyday activities include presenting the benefits of a breakthrough technology to experts in the field and then helping them use it successfully in their work. Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in Molecular Biology or related field and in-depth experience with PCR as well as great "people skills". Exposure to SNP genotyping and gene expression measurements (i.e Real Time qPCR) highly desirable and customer support experience a plus. M.S. or Ph.D. degrees preferred, but overachieving B.S. candidates will get full consideration. Up to 40% travel may be required
